We booked this albergue because we planned to walk to Luquin and we were glad we did. We had a spacious twin room with very comfortable beds, a sofa and a view of the river. The bathrooms were next door and the showers were good. You can pay to have laundry done and there are lines outside for drying clothes. Breakfast was included and we went to the local bar for dinner. Please think about staying off stage so that albergues like this can continue to thrive.

Had a nice night at Albergue Etxeurdina. Only 50 meters off the Camino. Nicely restored old Spanish home. 57 euros for a private room with a shared bathroom. Two single beds were very nice, couch, and a lot of space. Balcony overlooking the river. Only one other person in the albergue. This is not a stage stop. Mirren checked us in. We booked one hour out, great comms, she answered right away. Not full time manned. No meals. But very nice and comfortable. 3 private rooms, one 8 bunk room. Had a balcony overlooking old bridge on the river. Was a very quiet area. Ate at small local sports bar. Would stay here again.

What I liked most was the silence of that place. Jordi, the owner, speaks almost in a whisper. Clean and the beds with sheets are huge!!! Thank you Jordi!

A very nice albergue with spacious bunks with real sheets. Also Jordi, the host, is very hospitable and helpful. Highly recommended!

This is the most beautifully (and lovingly) restored albergue I have ever been in -- a truly authentic Spanish stay. Plus everything else for an albergue - super comfortable mattresses, plenty of outlets next to the bed, and a well appointed kitchen.

This place is wonderful! Great atmosphere and Miren is very welcoming. First place we stayed without bunkbeds and there were large towels 😊

This is the most amazing albergue. The couple running it were extremely helpful. They indulged our attempts at speaking in Spanish, and we had a bit of fun, with them teaching us a bit more. All of their suggestions were spot on.

Perfect albergue with a charming and very helpful owner. Mirren makes this place a special one on the Camino.

One of the best albergues so far. Miren is a very helpful, kind, and efficient host. The facilities are very clean and welcoming, and the bunk beds are very comfortable. I had a massage there as well. It was a combination of deep tissue and pressure point massage with a lot of stretching. Exactly what my body needed after days of walking. I would highly recommend this albergue. It is in a charming town run by an amazing host. Thank you, Miren.

Fantastic accommodation and the host is absolutely wonderful.

The albergue is super clean and a great kitchen. The host was exceptionally nice and friendly.
I wish I could have stood an extra night. A massager therapist also does visits to this albergue if that is something you want.
Highly recommended !

What a lovely place to stay. I was received very hospitably and incredibly helpful.
Otherwise lovingly converted and furnished albergue. Everything is right.
There is also a kitchen that can be used and a supermarket is a 5-minute walk away.
A shame to walk past I would say ...,

Arrived super tired and hostess was absolutely wonderful, beautiful bright and clean. Only a few of us here so tons of room and quite. Very nice showers and toilets. Breakfast was simple and delicious.

Miren is truly a blessing
So glad I went off stage, she refinishes furniture, and you can see that she has put this care and artistic expression into her home.
Kind and welcoming
Great kitchen set up
Beds comfy
Great stay

My teens and I stayed here and Miren was so helpful!
There were only 2 others staying in the dorm so it was spacious and comfortable (although one guest snored enough for 12 people!!!!).
Super hot showers and very clean facilities. The only thing missing was hand soap when exiting the toilet. Not so hygienic.
Miren was super helpful with everything, advised me to quickly go to the supermarket before they closed and called ahead to the one restaurant to ensure we could get a table for lunch in a very busy festival weekend.
We cooked a great dinner in the clean and well equipped kitchen and had a nice breakfast with strong coffee before our departure.
Like many others, we chose to walk the alternate route to Luquin which was perfect!

No dinner- the restaurant was closed the night I was there, but I was able to buy food and cook at the Alburgue
