Nice stay

Restaurant downstairs with food and breakfast. Private rooms nice. First albergue in town on camino

Very nice with aircon

The albergue section of this hotel is off the side and feels pretty new with nice little 4 bed or 6 bed dorms and aircon!! Very nice

Nice spot, but HOT.

I stayed in the “glamping” section which had nice bunks and good storage. The rooms were air conditioned, but we were surprised the AC went off in the night and we all woke up drenched in sweat. Excellent value in the restaurant for the buffet-style pilgrim’s menu.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay here and really enjoyed the double room with private bathroom, which was comfortable and clean. The outdoor space was a great bonus, with a nice bar area that was perfect for relaxing. We went to town to eat because of the limited vegetarian options but A pleasant place to stay and we would happily recommend it.

No kitchen facilities for pilgrims

Be aware there are no facilities or even a table for pilgrims to do their own meals.

I love Jakue!

I have been staying here every year for many years and I love it still. When I bring a group on the Camino, this is where I put them. The pilgrim rooms are spacious and you have a nice little bathroom of your own. The rooms are air-conditioned. The buffet dinner here is excellent and filling. I have also stayed in the treehouse and in the regular hotel rooms and both are perfect. I still have not stayed in the dorms. Maybe next year.😋 If you’re tired from your walk over Perdón, this is a great place to stop.

First place as you walk into town

It has more of a hotel vibe than albergue. The dorms were nice, but the walls between each 4-bed dorm didn't go all the way up, so I am not sure the point. You hear the people next to you like they are in the same room.
The bar is nice and the bartender was very friendly.
I stayed there the end of May.

Perfect

Right off the trail and into a gorgeous relaxing bar. I booked a bunk in a dorm but had the whole room to myself! Luxurious and peaceful.

First spot when you walk into town

I stayed here in September 2024. It was wonderful! I was placed in a room with one bunk bed and a single bed. There was a bathroom with a shower in the room. We were three females in the room, which was nice. The pilgrim’s meal at the restaurant is amazing.

Great stay

Private room in albergue. Clean and tidy. Hot water. Loved the village. Awesome pastries open at 6am for an early start at the top of the street in old town.

25. July 2024 - 19:50

Fantastic

We stayed in a twin room as it was the same price as 2 people in the alburgue.
It was so clean, we had fresh sheets and a towel (seemed like luxury).
Great value pilgrims meal at the restaurant.
Would definitely go back!

Great place! Beautiful.

It’s also a hotel and restaurant. And it is lovely to stay and have a snack and drink at the outside bar in the afternoon sun. The room I stayed in only had 3 bunks - first in first pick. Had ensuite. was quiet and safe feeling. Very clean. Well run. Great indoor bar too.

Kind of a cool set up, they called it glamping. More modern shared bunks that slept four. Ladies bathroom ran out of TP!

Reception ladies not friendly at all. They sent us to the tourism office 30 minute round trip & it was closed.

Dinner - overpriced & mediocre at best. I’d probably order off the menu next time, if I come back. Breakfast was better but still overpriced. Skip the buffet dinner & breakfast. Ran out of coffee.

Wi-fi at the hostel & reception area was poor.

I would have loved to love this place, seemed like it had potential, too many things went wrong .

$25 a bunk, not $20.

Nice facilities though.

Clean and relaxing

Really clean with a retreat vibe. Two bars. Best breakfast I have had so far. Dinner was ok. Good clean place.

Lovely alberque

Such a cute alberque with bar attached. Easy to find. Loved the Scandinavian flair. It so CUTE! Had a 4 person bunk room to share with one other person. Loved it!
Short walk to town. Several lively bar / cafes downtown to check out.

A must stay!

Fabulous.

Great room and bar area. Perfect to relax and unwind after long walk. Cannot recommend highly enough

8. July 2023 - 13:41

Might want a reservation just in case.

I didn’t need one bc I walk early. Best albergue experience yet and I’m in Burgos now. Great outside bar area, excellent dinner and breakfast, a little on the pricey side for budget pilgrims but well worth it. Nicest staff, great service, clean facilities, I can’t imagine better location.

26. June 2023 - 13:21

Beautiful but...

We loved the actual sleeping arrangements and the bar area was very nice. But the food at the dinner made us both really sick as well as a few other pilgrims that we met that had stayed there.
