Worse than a concrete bench

The albergue has 2 small rooms with 4 bunk bed in each. In my room, we set the ceiling fan to low, wich was a big mistake. The room quickly became hot, humid and smelly, the air was suffocating.I didn’t want to adjust the ceiling fan, so I left at 2am, found a bench and slept there.

One of the worst, not for me

Very small place. They've crammed an albergue into a very small property. It does work. The dorms are off the small kitchen. There isn't anywhere to sit and chill. The garden is a small yard covered in AstroTurf and rubber mats, horrible. The owners ever present, making sure everyone is using the kitchen appropriately. Bad vide. Avoid. But, yes, it's clean if that's your only criteria.

Welcome

The couple is very nice. Everything is perfect. Just that the beds should be secured for the comfort of people sleeping on top.

Lovely alburgue

Stayed here on 16/05/25. The owners are super friendly and cheerful. Nice kitchen to prepare a meal, but no oven, only a MW. Lovely garden to relax. Had the best night’s sleep. Definitely recommend. Johan

Learned a couple of things the hard way

I would have stayed there had they not had a sign on the door saying they were full. Apparently they actually were not full, but I can understand them putting that on the door before they actually opened, as they probably anticipated being full. I had my bag sent there in anticipation of staying there, and then found that I needed to pay 3 Euros to retrieve it, which is fine. But they were not friendly in that exchange, just businesslike. I arranged to cook a dinner with three people that were staying there and asked the host to stamp my credentials, which he did but was very reluctant to do because I wasn't staying there. And then he threw me out, because the kitchen is only for people that stay there. That is all perfectly understandable, I was ignorant of the etiquette, but definitely not at all friendly in the execution of all of this. Maybe he was having a bad day.

Super

This albuerge is clean, has a nice cooking area, little garden to rest in and breakfast prepared by the nice hospitaleros at 7. Perfect in every way!

Wonderful stay at the end of the day!!!

Just checked in to this Alburgue and I love it! The host and hostess are so accomodating and friendly! Very cheery decor and clean fac, well appointed facilities listening to the birds sing in their beautiful garden as I write this! Very good accommodation, value, and vibe!!!

Worst Albergue!!

I can’t recommend this Albergue, very small room with 4 bunk beds. It is like we’re sardines in a can. The rate reviews are deceiving.

Beds are not comfortable specially if you are assigned in the top bunk. If you are a big person and climb the top bed it will flip the whole bed.

Fabulous! Albergue Gaia

We loved our stay here the hosts are so helpful and welcoming. Clean, great garden to relax, lovely breakfast and their recommendation for an evening meal was our favourite to date.

Adorable!

It's a nice hostel! Very cute with pretty little decoration things inside. A nice kitchen, with stove and everything you need for homemade dinner. Small garden with chairs and tables. Shower and toilets everything is clean and shiny.
Bunk beds with real sheets and pillowcases in pink and green colours. Many many decorative things everywhere. And the lovely hosts, very welcoming and helpful.
Muchas Gracias 🍀

Only microwave available for cooking

Staying tonight and lovely Albergue; we’ll-designed showers; super-clean, warm and welcoming bathrooms and dorms (full tonight) with sheets and blankets; all the plates, cups, cutlery, glasses and cooking utensils you could want and use of a big fridge. But things must have changed recently (reading other comments) because we’re able to use the microwave, but not the cooker. But feeling happy to have use of that and the other kitchen equipment.

Incorrect WhatsApp number

The WhatsApp number listed above is incorrect. It’s the mobile number of a private individual. The correct number for WhatsApp messages is the one listed for mobile calls (+34699911311)

Excellent Albergue

Stayed 7.10.22 superb little albergue. Spotlessly clean and modern. 2 bunk rooms so ours was women only. Great kitchen facilities and nice back garden with plenty of furniture and drying lines. The showers have a screen door and an inner curtain so although small your clothes and towel stay dry. Owners are kind and helpful. Highly recommend.

Awesome atmosphere. Very relaxing

Great kitchen with everything you need to cook a large supper. Lots of extra stuff left from previous pilgrims (salt, pepper, soya etc. ) and large selection of tea. Breakfast is by donation, I gave generously as we had a wonderful supper and the price to stay was very reasonable. Allot of places only have a microwave. I appreciate it Carlos. Cheers

This was one of if not my

This was one of if not my favourite places I stayed in the camino. The only downside for me was that with asthma, I struggled while she had the incense lit, but the others in my room were able to keep the door closed and that was enough. Other than that it was seriously a great place. I stayed in Oct 2020 right when they first announced Leon had more restrictions. It ended up that you were able to walk through the city, but staff at the hostel spent like half an hour with a bunch of us figuring out different options and just helping us decipher the guidelines. There was a route to walk around Leon, buses through, etc.she was patient with us as we all through around different ideas and figured out our own decisions. Usable kitchen and small garden space.
