Great off-stage albergue!

Great little albergue with a dorm containing 4 beds (2 bunks) and another smaller room (maybe with two twins?). Juan, the proprietor, might come across as gruff, but he is lovely if you chat with him. A former pilgrim (3 Caminos), he loves to travel the world as well. Dinner in the bar was nothing fancy, but it filled our bellies. Would stay here again.

Great little spot indeed

If you're looking to be off stage, this is a great option. Clean, spacious room and excellent food at the bar. Highly recommend!

Great spot

Out of the way and little known small Albergue. Small with only 2 bunks (4beds) and another room with 2 singles. Great hospitality and a wonderful host. Quite unexpected after disappointment at Boente where we were treated quite rudely by an albergue when trying to find accommodation. Joseph had great conversations and the beef and fries was delicious. After walking this many km from St Jean the change in this section is quite noticeable and we had a great chat about it

Loved this place so much!

Loved this place so much! Sheets on the bed. Only one shower but a great shower. Amazing pilgrim menu- couldn’t even half finish it! And a free digestif shot at the end. Fantastic place!

Overall heat shortage after a wet day

After a wearing ponchos all day, our clothes needed to be dried. The dryer in the bathroom turns off every time the timed lights go off. So we had to babysit the dryer for 45 minutes. The hospidalero said it’s the power company and they can’t do anything about it. Also we have an oil space heater for the room and it turns off too. We stayed here because of the positive comments but not feelin’ it.

Splurged and got a double room for my son and me. Nice clean quiet room. Excellent restaurant. Nine euro pilgrim meal was great. Gave us a whole bottle of wine and even a shot of the local liqueur after dinner. One of the best nights sleep in the last month.
