Albergue O Pombal

A group of 4 of us showed up and within a few hours, we noticed several large bed bugs crawling around. We informed the hosts and were not angry or accusatory but they immediately started saying it was absolutely impossible that they had bed bugs, and that it was most definitely our fault. They were uncaring and refused to take responsibility or offer us any sort of guidance on what to do in this situation. When we chose to leave, he refused to refund our money and said that this was not his problem. Weird vibes through the whole interaction, absolutely avoid this place.

I was there for only a couple hours when I noticed a bed bug on my pillow while I was trying to nap. My traveling companions searched their beds as well and found two more. When we informed the hosts, they immediately denied that it was even possible. They accused us of bringing them, even though we found no sign of them on our bodies or in our stuff after a thorough search.
The hosts were extremely uncaring. They refused to refund us our money. We later found a Google review from three days earlier saying they had a bed bug infestation. So clearly the hosts knew they had an issue but blamed us instead. Stay far away from this place!

Peaceful place in the countryside with kitchen (no store nearby, so I brought my supplies from Sarria )

Very nice place on a human scale with a warm welcome. Close to the camino (shortcut to get back to the camino).
Dormitory with 12 bunk beds and bathroom. Very clean and well organized.
Pleasant garden with deckchairs.

He has drinks to purchase under lock and key at exuberant prices.
Nice gardens but not enough seating for every Pilgrim
Off the Camino way a few hundred metres and a walk to a little village.
Asked my friend and I if we wanted dinner at 5.
We both said yes
At 7pm we gather to eat at outside tables.
He told me "no" and shooed me away saying I didn't order. A friend tried to offer me food but he said no.
Total humiliation. So I didn't eat.
I talked to other pilgrims the next day who said meal was poor.
I left early next day.
No one could get wifi.
No soap or paper towels anywhere.
Camino spirit is missing here

Lovely peaceful yard and beds look clean. Host was welcoming.

This albergue has an amazing fruit garden, hammocks, full stocked kitchen, and much more, it is a very peaceful place, the wifi is decent, good enough to text, social media, phone call etc!
Very Lovely hosts and cute dog! Very close to camino and church, the town is small so no supermarket, so just get everything you need in Sarria, its only a few k away! Overall rating. 4.5/5

Kitchem nice garden, no food closed by. Bad wifi

Has 11 beds, in room, quiet, slightly off trail but you can cut through in morning so that makes it up. Lovely garden, with lots relaxing spots to read, rest etc. nice host. Washing machine 3 euros
