Nice Place! Good Location!

Nice Casa Rural. Checked into Casa Barbadelo by Radaisi and Christian. We were in an eight bunk room for 15 euro. Had its own bathrooms and shower. No air conditioning or fan. Had the pilgrim dinner. Very good. They also had a regular menu and a lot of vegetarian options. There is a pool. Soaked our feet. Cafe and bar was nice. Nothing else in town. Great location 3k past Sarria. If you leave early you can beat the Sarria crowds. Nice Casa Rural. Would stay here again.

Swimming pool and good food!

Great stop to avoid sarria crowd! Breakfast at 6am is a gem! And after a long day chilling by the pool is the best !
Highly recommended to stop here

Great pool and quiet

As a bonus you get to avoid the crowds from Sarria for most of the next day🥰.
Bunk Beds are the metal ones.

My favorite place in Galecia

Very friendly and speak some English. I used Google translate which helps because I speaks just little Spanish. We had a private room which was wonderful. Food was very good SMS we could get something other than pilgrims meal all day. Loved the pool.

Great stop

Restaurant shared with locals.
Food really good.
Bunkrooms very comfortable with good toilet and showers.
What more does a pilgrim need.

Worth walking past Sarria for!

Loved this albergue. Deliberately booked beyond Sarria to push ahead of the crowds & boy, is it worth it. We booked a day early for a private room which was lovely, clean and practical.
Staff are lovely & helpful. We had the pilgrim meal and it was bloody lovely. I throughly recommend staying here!

Business Business but a place to stay

They are not kind at all , no smile for all the personal , they do the minimum , even with language, only Spanish spoken. But it’s a nice place with the pool . 8 persons in the dormitory with 2 showers and one wc . Meal is correct. They are not here for the spirit of the Camino but only for Business

Lovely spot

Staff is kind and helpful. Dorm room clean, only 4 bunks, great shower. Very well set up for pilgrims. You can eat at any time! Laundry service (wash and dry) 8 euros. Garden gorgeous. Several nice places to hang out with other pilgrims

Full of kids n families. Business no camino spirit.

This is a commercial resort for families with kids. It's a business with the Camino traffic on the side. Its not geared towards the needs of the peregrino. Overpriced, awful food. Stay in Sarria.

A great place to stay in the Camino

We felt like we were at a resort! The entire staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at the bar was wonderful with many choices. Our private room for 2 had a great hot, clean shower and the bedroom/bed were very comfy. They have a beautiful swimming pool. There's ample laundry facilities. Early breakfast is available at 6 AM. We highly recommend staying here!

Very nice

A very nice, well-run albergue. Everything is new and thoughtfully planned. They even made a map of the place which they give to you when you check in. The rooms have 8 beds each, a toilet and two showers - all in good condition. The garden is lovely. Dinner was good. I had the Galician soup and vegetarian lasagne for 14 euro in total. The bed costs 15 euro. Laundry service 7 euro.

nice place

nice place but the whole town smells like arse due to whatever agriculture is going on here. might be short term

16. July 2022 - 14:30

Pension Casa Das Airas

Pension Casa Das Airas was one of the properties run by the Albergue. It was very nice. Probably won't matter to anyone who's not staying here during the summer, but they had a fan in the bedroom which was a welcome change since it's been so incredibly hot in Spain.

One of my favorite places

Stayed here in September 2021. Only 3 km past Sarria. It was a great place for a day with a short walk so I had time to rest in the afternoon. So relaxing! They have lovely grounds and great food. They did a load of wash for me which I hung on their large clothesline. Triple room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Good wi if in room.

Open August 2021

Lovely setting, vibe, views and food. Hosts are relaxed and easy-going. I love eating and staying here and it’s a great alternative (for only a few more kms of walking) if you don’t fancy staying in busy Sarria.

July 2019

July 2019
This is a nice almost hotel. Does not feel like an albergue at all and doesn’t have much camino spirit. The facilities are all quite nice so no complaints. The night I was there was very busy with non-pilgrim events and we had a lot of trouble getting food (priority was to non pilgrims and we had to wait hours to order), and it was noisy into the night. 10-12€ per bed, no kitchen, WiFi only in the main building.

Last minute Wow. had planned

Last minute Wow. had planned to stay at casa de carmen as we did before. This place is a huge upgrade, rooms for 4 was $60 and amazing. the pool, gardens and food was awesome. will come back in future

Woken by our room door

Woken by our room door opening and a bright flashlight shining into the room around the beds at 11.30pm. Afterwards there was loud chatting and laughter right outside the door even after I waited 15 minutes for it to stop, tapped at the glass to get the girls’ attention and signalled for them to be quiet. Chatter and laughter continued unabated. It was after 1 a.m. when our door opened again and two girls with backpacks came in, turned on the shower (with loud extractor fans) which they then turned off but then went loudly to wash in the toilet before climbing into their bunks.

It's a very big albergue: it

It's a very big albergue: it hosted a group of 70 young persons when we were there. Clean, nice room of 8 bunkbeds with wc and two showers. There is a swimming pool, young people did use it. Food and breakfast good.
It's the only bar at the village, so a little noisy in the evening, but the rooms are not right close to bar, so it did not bother much. The bunkbeds are ok, but a bit difficult to climb to top bed.
