Camino to Finisterre and Muxía app

Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino to Finisterre and Muxía app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Mixed feelings

It's an okay place with a garden, breakfast and dinner + the hosts are nice people. The main advantage of staying here versus the "center" of Santa Mariña - herw you do not feel the horrible smell of cow shit that you cannot avoid in Santa Mariña. However, this was the worst bed I slept in on the camino.

Great pilgrim dinner

Very friendly service. Had a nice pilgrim dinner that was definitely worth the price. The dormitory was large and a bit crowded but the showers were nice. Breakfast was not amazing as each item was individually priced (€0.60 for an egg, €0.40 for jam) and we could only pay by card after 7pm.

Great facility

The facility is very clean. Reception from the host is exceptional and the meals were quite large and filling. Definitely a Pilgrims reception was had.

OK

OK, not as one previous comment. It was good, clean spacious, best showers of all Camino , so far. Host friendly, helped find me accommodation tomorrow.

Changes

The albergue is now in the basement, under the bar. There is a direct doorway to outside so you do not need to go through the main bar area. The dorm is a big room with about a dozen bunk beds. The bathrooms are very modern and clean. New laundry machines. There still are leather couches and an indoor gathering area. Food plentiful and tasty

Ok

I was just there. No bedbugs. It’s a nice enough place. The beds aren’t very comfortable but it’s the most spacious shower stall I’ve found on the Camino. They even have a shelf. The bathrooms have bidets! There’s a small equipped kitchen and dining table. Areas inside w leather couches to relax. A patio. There’s a wash basin and laundry facilities. Pilgrim menu is 10€. Food is typical and plenty. Only other cons are that the place smells musty, the bed/bath spaces are awkward, and it’s on a busy road. The road isn’t too noisy after dark however. Wouldn’t have been my first choice but I just didn’t want to walk further
