Hosted by a brother and sister in their 80s. No English. There was a younger women in her 40s around later. Very old row home, at least 100 years old. Minimal upgrades probably 40 years ago. Needs a renovation or some basic maintenance, and especially the shower. There was hot water. No amenities. Moderately clean. No smoke dectectors I could see. Good location near the Cathedral. 25 euro gets you a private room and a shower and toilet. No pilgrim vibe, seems more like a longer term room rentals for workers. While it was nice helping these older folks likely stay in their place and pay the property tax, if I came this way again I would look to stay elsewhere.

Like stepping back in a timewarp, run by an elderly lady 4 single beds in a room 2nd floor, Juliet balcony so fresh air but on the road, old style kitchen with microwave, fridge and kettle. Shower is small but hot water ok.
Good location and very helpful, cannot pre book but worth a wander to check availability.

The lady who owns it it’s a old Portuguese lady, it is old style but well cared for. 20€ and would definitely recommend it.

Simple but nice. 20€ for a night, nothings included.
