Small spaces, but comfy beds and excellent caring staff! Overall positive, would stay again!

The albergue was ok. Nothing special. Quite cramped. Maria was helpful and kind and washed & hung out my clothes for 5 euro, I didn’t want them in the dryer. Tiny bathroom with a lot of water on the floor. Maria recommended eating at the restaurant in the Sports hall which was surprisingly good and very reasonable price for the ‘menu’.

Maria did our washing and dried it within a couple of hours. Recommended good places for dinner and breakfast. I suggest the restaurant at the end of town by the patrol station

Maria was warm and welcoming and her hostel clean and beds very comfortable. Washing and drying offered at an extra cost. Supermarket near by .Highly recommend this accommodation.
Thank you Maria

This is a lovely albergue the private rooms are so nice and had our own terrace, shared bathroom with one other room which was great lots of room and hot water.
Kitchen with kettle tea and coffee and a washing machine with powder to use for free wow thank you x
I loved everything about it apart from the church bells which rang every half hour all night 😳 so didn’t sleep well!

Room was clean and comfortable bed. Laundry was a washer and hang to dry option. Perfect for the hiking clothes we brought. Bathroom was clean and plenty of hot water. Kitchen was supplied with microwave, dishes and water heater for instant coffee/tea. Grocery store around back for supplies to have quiet meal and glass of wine. Also she has stamp for passport in room. Easy to get even while tired. Price was worth it for this couple!

I liked that it was a small albergue after staying in the big one in Roncevalles however the smaller room just meant that the inevitable snorer ends up being super close and loud. Toilet room was tiny, plus we ran out of TP in the middle of the night and no extra roll was provided.

We enjoyed our stay here! The hostes was kind and did our laundry. The shower was small but clean.

We stayed one night, and everything was adequate. Clean rooms, basic accommodations for about 16 people. No meals, kitchen available; laundry facilities available, but hard to get. Toilets and shower clean and TINY. Our room had 8 people and it felt crowded.

We came out of the trek across the mountains tired and sweaty and so took the offer to pay for a double room. It’s in another building around the corner and was great.

Maria was a great host - this albergue was the only one open during our early March visit. The rooms/shower space is small but there are laundry facilities. Good restaurant about 800m away (across from gas station) that serves a pilgrim menu. She does not have coffee nor breakfast but lots of kitchen supplies. There is a kettle to heat water should you have any instant coffee or tea packed.

Maria is a wonderfully welcoming hospitalero/owner. She has 4 great private rooms, 2 beds in each, which for 2 people does not cost that much more than staying in the Albergue. This year has been so tough for the smaller Albergue owners, so it's good to support them.

This albergue is too cramped. Felt like I was being squeezed in to a sardine can.
23. April 2019 - 18:02
María is SUCH a great host, a bit shy but if you talk to her she gets real warm. Nothing particular about this Albergue. Good stay
21. July 2018 - 21:10
Maria is very helpful and friendly, very welcoming. The place is very cramped, shower and toilet is extremely small, too small for a hostel sleeping this many people. Prepare to sleep covered in flies.
9. May 2017 - 15:59
It was very comfortable and enjoyed the stay here. There's microwave, fridge, kettle and utensils you can use. The hostess Maria was helpful and gracious.
