Peaceful, comfortable, friendly, fun! What more could you ask for??? Oh yes..the host runs the washing machine for you and brings you your clothes to hang outside or dried if you used the dryer!
Beds are super comfortable.

Fantastic albergue run by two amazing people who really love what they do. The food was the best we’ve had on our Camino.

It’s a calm, relaxing albergue in the small village of San Nicolas de Real Camino, run by a gracious Italian couple. It feels very cozy, clean and welcoming. The owners are friendly and experienced peregrinos themselves, and it shows: Nice showers, plenty of power outlets, small rooms. They offer a delicious Italian dinner. Highly recommended.

I loved this Albergue. Pilgrims are running this place and you can feel it in every corner.

But what is most remarkable is the cleanliness of this place. Hardl to find cleaner places on the Camino Frances.

Very clean with small bunk rooms. There's a beautiful inner garden court to relax and do laundry. Pilgrim dinner with peso gnocchi was amazing.

I was going to go on to Sahagun but this little stay was highly recommended and I am so glad I was able to enjoy the great energy these owners have created!!!

This is a very pleasant place with friendly, helpful hosts. The communal rooms are nice with 3 bunks in my room. The showers are big and everything is very clean. There is a.a nice courtyard for sitting and drying clothes. There is a washing machine and a hand washing sink. The communal dinner was delicious and had a nice vegetarian menu. Highly recommend!

I was in a comfortable room with 3 bunk beds. The laundry and the back patio are relaxing. The community dinner was great! The hosts are attentive to your needs. The vegetarian dinner was great and very filling. I had the delicious pesto pasta, salad, veggie burger, and dessert. Everything was great.

Ich habe mich im Albergue Laganares rundum wohlgefühlt. Schon beim Ankommen wurde ich herzlich empfangen – die Betreiber sind unglaublich freundlich und kümmern sich mit echter Gastfreundschaft um ihre Gäste.
Das Essen war lecker und wurde liebevoll zubereitet. Besonders schön: Man kann wahlweise draußen vor dem Hostel oder entspannt im Garten sitzen – perfekt zum Erholen nach einem langen Pilgertag.
Die Betten waren bequem, alles war sauber und sehr gepflegt. Man merkt, dass hier mit Herz und Verstand gearbeitet wird. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen – klare Empfehlung für alle, die eine angenehme, familiäre Unterkunft auf dem Camino suchen

Wonderfully Italien couple who owns and run this place. Friendly and warm and you feel immediately welcome. Slept in a dorm with 6 beds(we were just 3 though)
Nice dinner :) recommend this place.

Came in for lunch on the way to Sahagun and they were extremely accommodating of my dietary restrictions, even gave us take away cups as we could not finish the meal

This is a warm and welcoming albergue!
They make sure everything is ok. Beds feel wonderful. Nice areas to rest and relax. Unfortunately, the day I stayed here it was raining and I could not use the outdoor space.

BONUS!! Not only is there a washer AND dryer!
The hosts do the laundry for you!! How great is that??? No worry to try to get things dry outside on a drizzly day!

The food is delicious and presented in a very pleasing way.

Plan at least a stop here for a snack or meal.

We(myself, husband and daughter)had a wonderful stay here. A very warm welcome upon our arrival. We enjoyed conversing with the host and hostess so much- and the Italian Communal Meal was delicious. The interior of the hostel is beautiful and the showers and bathrooms very clean. The rooms hold 4 pilgrims, so it was a very good sleep. Loved our stay here!

Beautiful wood interior. Everything very clean. Only 6 beds per room. But best of all was the warm hospitality of host Danielle. And Danielle’s pasta and meatballs are wonderful! Be sure to get the communal dinner here!

I didn’t stay here but it looks super cute and I had a great bocadillo and coffee.

Unfortunately I arrived to see this Alburgue was closed. Pity as that meant another 7km to Sahagun!

Beautiful, comfortable place. Haven for vegetarians. Delightful facilities and friendly owners. Highly recommend!
