Beautiful, delicious, clean

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a renovated historic building, so very typical but also impeccably clean and functional. We shared a dorm room with two strangers and got along great. Rafa and Gonzalo are super warm and knowledgeable. Food for diner and breakfast were delicious and abundant. A great price too! Would return again, no doubt!!!

Beautiful facility for either dorm or private rooms

As others have said this is a must for your Camino off stage. The hosts are so pilgrim friendly. They have a bar to get drinks, a clothes washing and drying area, a communal dinner that was delicious. And a fantastic shelter outdoors for relaxing. I loved my room as it looked over the field of cows. Added bonus is that the window had a functioning screen so no flies. No other restaurant is around so you will be eating communally.

Brilliant stay

Rafa and Gonzalo are the most wonderful, sweet, welcoming hospitaleros and their albergue is a great place. It’s clearly very well looked after, and they have a lovely big garden you can relax in. They made space for us even though they were technically full, and we so appreciated it. Dinner was also superb. Highly, highly recommend.

The spirit of the Camino is here!

Love these guys so much. Their place is just so lovely, relaxing and peaceful. Their personalities complement each other perfectly- they are attentive, wonderful hosts. It was like being with family. Rafa’s lentil soup was the best on the Camino for me- plus an amazing fresh green salad and roast chicken. 10/10. Their breakfast was not to be skipped— we all stayed for the eggs, bacon and toast! Our group opted for a later start to stay just a bit longer. I loved them so much — a highlight of the Camino for me.

Rafa y Gonzalo — abrazos! Les estrano y ojalá que nos veamos de nuevo.

Casa do Rego is a wonderful albergue

This is a wonderful place to stay with kind and hospitable hosts Gonsalo y Rafa. We stayed in a private double with beds and sheets, shower with plentiful hot water, towels and heated towel rack, shower gel, shampoo, and bath mat. We had a wonderful communal meal (lentil soup, chicken with mushrooms, green salad, and cake with peaches for dessert). There was a wonderful covered patio with beautiful garden plants. Laundry service and a place to dry clothes are available. We had a thunderstorm with hail during our stay, which is highly unusual for this time of year. Recommended.

Must stay!

I cannot recommend Casa Do Rego enough. It is a beautiful albergue in a picturesque location. Right at the 100km mark yet still quiet, peaceful and serene. You will be so happy you stayed here. The hosts were lovely and so attentive. The communal dinner was beautiful and our room (private but they also have dorms) was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The outdoor terrace was perfect for relaxing and resting before dinner. This was hands down our favorite stay!

Great place to stay !!

One of the nicest places i have stayed in !
Just after the 100kms mark (a few meters after)
The owners are really nice and welcoming.
The dormroom is really Nice and clean. The bathroom is perfect, with a large shower !
There is a sunny backyard Where you can rest, meet the other pilgrims, read …
The dinner is shared with other pilgrims, and is a nice moment. Good home made food (lentils soup, Chicken with salad and cake). Vegetarian option available 😃 really loved this place !
