Great stop

After seeing full and completo this was a great stop. After a long day was nice to see friendly people and be welcomed.

Wonderful

I arrived around noon and they were very busy and it was raining.
And they may have seemed to many as being brusque, but they were trying to take care of everybody in an organized manner. And as soon as the crowds subsided, the family run staff, wer6e very kind and helpful, I had a private room for forty euro. I had
a late lunch at four thirty, which was wondeful. The room was wonderful, and I had a great night's sleep.

Make it a point to stay here

Really lovely, clean, friendly hostel. Beautiful patio and plenty of drying line in the sun for quick laundry. Best salad, hands down, I have had on the camino.

Lovely stay

I stayed here without any prior reservation. The place has a nice big terrace where you can chill and wash/ hang your clothes. In the evening a lovely Ukrainian dinner was served. The food was amazing! I had a wonderful nights rest. Great stay!

A true gem and an outstanding stay

What a gem! I’m so glad I picked this. The Ukrainian hosts are warm, helpful and caring. The highlight of this excellent stay was the home cooked dinner served family style including Ukrainian Borscht, a very delicious and satisfying soup; we also had pasta, meat sauce and salad. I chose a single bed (17 Euros or 3 more than a bunk bed). The bed had cotton sheets, cloth towels were included, the bathroom was clean and the shower hot. Excellent bar and Terraza. I would definitely stay here again. Don’t miss it.

Fantastic.

Really lovely family/staff. The food was Ukrainian inspired and all home made and all excellent! The pumpkin pie was incredible and the soup and mushroom sauce on the rice, delicious. Room was clean, super warm and fairly spacious! Such good value. Shower hot. Massive thank you! Also was a delight to book/correspond with!

A great place to stay

Thanks for making me so welcome Paulina. I so enjoyed our conversation and Michael’s Pilgrims dinner was just the best. I loved staying here as there is everything you need and everyone is so helpful and kind. Amanda Australia

Great place to stay!

This is one of my favorite spots to stay so far! Michael and the others are wonderful, friendly and made a delicious communal meal. Don’t skip this place!

Best deal on the Camino

We had a private double room with private bath for only €45, and it was as nice as many other places we stayed at for much more money. Very happy! Great communal dinner with 4 (family style, so second hepings ok) courses plus yogurt or fruit dessert for €15. The owner (Alex?) is hard working and super friendly; both he and other workers speak English. One slight Con is that the walls are thin, but we had quiet respectful neighbors so it worked out.

Perfect stay

Great 1 pers room. Pelgrim dinner was the best!
Very kind and welcome hosts.

Nice place to hang out

31. May 2024 - 19:30

Better than I thought

It cost only 12€, not 15€, as stated. And the owner is Ukrainian. So… come here to help Ukraine.
Some lockers are rustes through but no1 is stealing your stuff so I don’t care.

Best so far

Owner was very nice. Spoke English. Got a private room—-the nicest one yet. Excellent value. Clean. WiFi connection was spotty. Community dinner was very nice. Must stay.

Enjoyable!

A great paella dinner and wonderful atmosphere that encourages socializing. Host very pleasant!

6. May 2024 - 7:54

Excellent accommodation

This is a great place to stay, comfortable rooms, good shower and the host genuinely cares for the pilgrims. One of the best pilgrim dinners along the way!

19. September 2022 - 20:52

Closed for Now

The owner/hospitalero died recently and the albergue is closed.

11. May 2022 - 16:56

May 2022 Okay

We arrived without reservations and got a private room. Owners are not English speaking, but we managed with my poor Spanish and their minimal English. WiFi is flaky, didn’t work for us outside the area of the bar/café. Pilgrim meal was okay, not great. Private room was nice.

6. May 2022 - 17:00

5/6/2022

Don’t understand the negative comments, the room was exceptionally clean and came with a blanket for warmth. Also lots of Sun shine to dry those clothes.

20. December 2021 - 20:02

Great place to stop!

Hiking the Camino in December can be difficult. Many places are closed included grocery stores and bars. Some days you think you’ll make it farther than you actually can. I called this place last minute, the owner was friendly and helpful. I splurged for a private room and had a nice hot meal— I’d mostly been surviving on toast and whatever any open bar had up to this point. I had NO trouble with bed bugs. The owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful.
