This Albergue is spacious and well laid out. The bunks are laid out with plenty of space between them and the whole place has an up market feel and the dinner was delicious. I asked for a vegan option on arrival
The staff were very happy to accommodate my dietary request. Top marks!

Very nice place with a communal dinner. Very modern. We chose this and put in the long day to get here because a friend back home recommended it. And the fact it has a nice spa/pool. But when we got there the spa was closed that day. Sick employee. Communal dinner was salad and a giant shared Paella, rice and chicken. It was great. Forgot to tell them my wife is a vegetarian and they whipped up this amazing rice and vegetable dish at the last minute. Above and beyond by Bernardo. Very nice and huge albergue. Bunks with power and light in one big room. Bunks are very spread out compared to what we have experienced so far. Easy to maneuver and unpack, pack. Old building converted to a very modern and well thought out Albergue. Has a small cafe. Town does not have a market.

Probably the best Albergue I stayed at so far! Comfortable bed with individual plugs, clean facilities and great communal dinner with vegetarian option.
Note that the price is higher than indicated (17€ for the bed and 17€ for the dinner)

I chose to have a resting day of 10km and after to chill in the spa. The albergue was very clean and nice. Would reccomend! The spa comes at a discount if you stay in the albergue. The sauna was out of order when I went to the spa in April 2026. Otherwise very lovely and helped my muscels relax. Also: the best paella on the Camino so far!

It’s already closed on October 19. No mention online, heard it from luggage
handler.

Hands down the best Albergue we’ve stayed in since leaving SJPDP. Clean, modern, a bed light wow. Great communal dinner. What a pleasure….

Good host, ok food and nice dorm!

Stayed here for one night, it was an absolute luxury on the trail. Even the shared bunk room was nice, each bed has a plug, it’s clean, the bathrooms are great, the communal dinner was delish, and most importantly, the spa was AMAZINGG. A must stay on the Camino. Wish I had taken a rest day here.

This has to be one of my favourite albergues. The staff are very friendly.

The best stay so far. Staff very helpful, facilities clean and spacious, delicious food.
An oasis after the long walk from Burgos.

What a wonderful place in the middle of nowhere- Hontanas. A must stay and the Spa is €15 when you have a bed at the albergue. Everything is new, plastic wrapping still on parts of the bed. Fab showers, lots of hot water, great balcony, warm duvets. Dinner is paella - still to taste it yet, but I'm already sure it's going to be brilliant!

Beautiful, clean, warm, comfortable albergue with kind staff. I loved the soft blankets and pillows are also comfy. Fully equipped kitchen for anyone wishing to cook.

Fint ophold med gode faciliteter. Mange senge, men man sover godt i dem og der er rent og pænt. Prøvede ikke spa til 25€ men så lækkert ud. Desværre fuldt booket til dinner, så den måtte jeg til nabo albergue og tage.

The private rooms are in a separate building - very nice facility and great sheets, duvets, shower, and a lovely common sitting area. BUT the 2 windows open to a busy plaza that's full of locals until midnight and then pilgrims at breakfast starting about 630 as well as an extremely bright streetlight. So only with the extra $$ if it's a cold night where you can close up the windows.

Sent them an email yesterday to reserve accommodation for today. Have still not received a reply.

My favourite albergue yet. Staff are all beautiful humans who greeted us with smiles and care after a long hot day on the Camino.
So clean and organised, including hand Soap in bathrooms (frightening how many places neglect basic infection control).
Each bed has own PowerPoint and bedside light.
Deck for drying clothes and good laundry area for hand washing.
Hydrotherapy spa - we were lucky they were offering free entry if you paid for communal dinner + dorm bed.
Well ventilated with ample doors and windows.

Lovely welcome and a clean, spacious dorm with comfy bunks and warm blankets - best nights sleep in ages!
14. May 2024 - 16:55
They have lots to offer; spa, cold foot bath outdoors, sturdy bunks, nice shower area, bar with outside seating, great dinner in a beautiful dining room!

This location is amazing. Brand new and extremely clean. The shared paella dinner is a must. Tons of delicious food. So glad we made it here from Burgos.

March 2024: This place is exceptionally nice! Spacious and light rooms - I had a bunk bed with a view!! Very nice bathroom and showers. Everything is brand new - and most important the atmosphere is reallly really nice. The hostesses are trying their best to making us feel at home. Homecooked food too!
