Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino Francés app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

The host was super friendly and very accommodating. We had a 3 course meal with wine! Fabulous! Our room even had a balcony

The Casa rural is clean and simple with a well stocked kitchen (bring food from Ponferrada!). When I called the owner to ask if dinner would be served, he replied that the “dinner” available would be pre-mades (en lata) in the fridge. There was canned soup, Russian salad, and ravioli for sale (prices marked). They also sell beers and sodas. The one bar in the area, Casa Mirasol, is CLOSED and the building is for sale. The fridge at the casa rural had all the fixings for breakfast toast, a coffee maker, tea, etc. You have to check yourself in, but it’s super simple. Good WiFi.

This hotel is comfortable and full of charm, and the food is excellent. Highly recommended.
