Very rustic and very simply furnished

It was the worst so far. I was in a dormitory room. Windows are covered with fly screens. There is a washing machine: dryer for €4 each but no way to hang things to dry. The room feels rather stuffy. The curtains on both sides, on the other hand, are great. Bathroom: a no-go. Everything is very old and partly broken. For the number of people: 1 toilet (the lid is broken where you pull out the paper). 1 urinal for men. 1 shower with an old wooden door. Here the showerhead handle is broken. Above all, you have to somehow get undressed and dressed in the shower. There is 1 more somewhat more modern shower. By the way, at the toilet, others can hear what happens inside because the wooden door doesn't close all the way to the ceiling. And people in front also use the bathroom to brush their teeth etc. The food is okay but you only get the pilgrim menu. If you don't eat meat, for example, there are fries with fried egg.

One of my favorite places to stay on the Camino

We had a private room for two. It seems to be brand new. Very clean, really nice bathroom. The food was delicious and it very efficiently served. Very pleased overall.

Casa Pepa

Very tasty pilgrim menu especially the lentil.soup. Great breakfast. We had a room for 4 of us with 1 toilet and shower for.us and another room..Paper disposable bed sheets. Cheap and cheerful accomodation right on the camino.thoigh.

Don’t go unless you have to

The albergue does the job, but don’t go there unless you have to. The place is not clean. The facilities are worn out. The familie who owns it does not speak english and is not very helpfull to nok spanish speaking people. They have a pilgrim menu for 13 € but it is not worth the money.

An Excellent Albergue and Cafe

The building is lovely with stone walls and modern facilities. The staff was very kind and patient with me because I speak so little Spanish. The café food was excellent. I was very happy here and would stay again.

Bed bugs

I’ve walked the entire way from France with no bed bug issues, but I stayed here last night and had 10 bites. I googled images of bed bug bites, and low and behold, that’s what they are. I covered the mattress and pillow with the provided covers, but I used their blanket as well. I think the blanket was my downfall. Thought I was going to do the Camino unscathed, but nope.

A tidy place to rest your head

Located next to the graveyard in Santa Mariña, Casa Pepa is neat and tidy. The lentil soup is very nice.

Fabulous place a must on your journey .

Twin room was a spotless newly built room with spacious ensuite . Facilities included a laundry room, owners were very helpful and food was good and served all evening .

Pretty but…

There was a beautiful view and good food! You just have to overlook the flies the yelling angry man that runs it.

Okay

The albergue itself is quite nice, good ventilation and good distance between beds. It’s quite full of flies, especially if you eat outside. The food is good and fairly priced. A bed cost 14€, a bit too much in my opinion. In the area there is nothing so or you bring your own food or you have to eat at the restaurant.

Very limited menu. They serve all afternoon. Most of use ate dinner at 6PM. I liked the lentil soup. There were lots of flies, but that's true about anywhere in the farm land of Galicia. No English spoken and no written menu.

STAY HERE! The place is spotless, owners are friendly, and food is incredible. There are flies, but no more than you would expect given it is in the countryside.

Lovely albergue, the dorm room is split into three sections that are partially walled off so I lucked out and got a non-bunk bed in a section with just two other beds. Clean sheets, blankets provided, very cozy with a fireplace in the bar downstairs, bathrooms were also clean. I thought the owners were very kind and gracious. The food and coffee was good too. Definitely recommend.
