If the albergue is closed, head over to La Posada del Embrujo. They will help locate the keys. If they water is not turned on, they can also show you how to turn it on.The Posada is also the place to go for dinner. They do a menu to dine-in or take-away and they have a vegetarian option.

A small room crammed with ridiculously low bunk beds, barely room to squeeze between the beds.
A tiny kitchen.
A toilet-sink-shower room that is constantly flooded.
A hospitalera as welcoming as a prison door and not at all in the spirit of the Camino.
In short, this albergue gets everything wrong.

The albergue consists of a small room filled with 12 bunk beds and a sofa, a ridiculously small kitchen and two toilet-sink-shower rooms, one for women and one for men. When there are twelve of you in there, it's like a bird cage.
The hospitaler is super unpleasant, she wanted to throw out a pilgrim who had no money in the rain, we paid for his right to sleep on the sofa.
In short, 10 euros is quite expensive for that.

Samaksāju 10 eiro. Kopā ir 12 gultasvietas, bet, ja ir pilns, tad ir iespējams gulēt pirmajā stāvā uz matračiem. Naudu nāca ievākt ap pulksten 20.00. Pieticīga virtuve.

An old school made into an albergue. Minimum facilities but warm at night. Bar next door had group filling the restaurant but offered to serve us boiled potatoes and sliced ham with paprika for a very reasonable price in the bar. Thoughtful people.

Had what we needed - decent beds, working heaters, bathroom/shower & a kitchen.
Good value, host comes around at 6pm to collect payment.

It’s your basic old school albergue regards bunk beds but the kitchen has a job,microwave and equipment, so really useful and great to see. Bathroom clean and separate for men and women. Quite sleep. Long May this albergue remain, so many are closed.

Woman managining the hostel not welcoming (which is unusual on the camino). The hostel itself is quite bad. There s nothing at all in this tiny village (no shops, no bar...). I would strongly suggest you look for an alternative (easier said than done; no albergue nearby; however after seeing this place I decided to walk a little but further to Villamanin)

This albergue is simple but clean. La Posada de Embrujo is closed on Mondays (rooms and bar) so you will need to bring your own food or call a taxi to take you to a nearby restaurant (approximately 5kms away) if you are staying on a Monday.
