Such a nice place. Very kind hostress. Great meal. Very fine showerrooms.

A kind and friendly Host , Clementine that carefully selected rooms depending on male , female etc . Excellent showers , meal . A much nicer place to stay than Tardajos just down the road where they just aren’t at all friendly. Liz

I forgot: free toilet articles, like hair shampoo, shower soap and hygienic articles for women. Really great!

This hostel is highly recommended! The rooms have four bunk beds. Everything is clean, and the woman who manages it is very attentive and friendly. The price for a bed, dinner, and breakfast was €28, which is very reasonable. Dinner consisted of a very tasty noodle soup, mixed salad, tortilla, and yogurt. Breakfast ist Coffee, bread, butter and Marmelade.
I would definitely stay here again.

Not only was this albergue squeaky clean and the dinner tasty and filling, the woman in charge went out of her way to be helpful when I was sick. She works hard to please and I really appreciated her efforts. It’s also very conveniently located.

I liked the place! Everyone got their own room. It had soap, shampoo and washing soap, the dinner was good as well and it was very calm and the rooms cool.

This,Albergue, was clean and comfortable. The lady that runs the place was very accommadating, she foundxv fold out bed for 2 pilgrims, plus made a last-minute omelette for a pilgrim with special dietary requirements.
The nunsxat the Monestery gave the pilgrims a special blessing. It was a very warming experience.

Very nice with free toiletries like shampoo. I didn't get the dinner because I'm tired of tortilla... The host was nice and gave me whole dorm to myself and gave the two men the other room. So I got a good night's sleep yay!

Small & cosy. Has everything you need with a few thoughtful extras. Great showers with shower gel & shampoo provided & even a basket of sanitary products in each bathroom! Clementina is a lovely host who makes a brilliant communal meal. Noodle soup, pasta salad, tortilla all frshly cooked & piping hot (which is rare in Spain!). Cheeky, friendly dog called Reagan waiting outside for us - not sure he actually belongs to the hostel but he will try to nick your food (or your shoes) if you are sat outside at the picnic benches. Overall, really nice place.

This was a lovely little albergue, a charming hostess, who tried her best with idiots who didn't speak Spanish. She did a decent meal for dinner (12€), and breakfast for €3. We also had a lovely personal blessing at the tiny monastery down the road.

I felt a deep connexion with those few loving nuns who gave the pilgrims blessing. Through them the incredible love of Jesus for me and each one of us became once more so real and nearby. "Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so..." (an old song)
A very very meaningful start of this camino for me.

We got a lovely Pilgrim blessing from the nuns in the monastery. We each received a lovely medal of our lady to keep us safe on our journey. A special memory for us all.

Albergue opens at 12:30 pm not 12:00

The best part of this albergue was meeting the two other pilgrims who also stayed the same night in early April 2022. The bed was just fine, the shower was warm, the owner wasn’t friendly or helpful or rude. Heat came from a wood stove which made common room smell smoky. Overall just fine.

It was forecast to rain with thunder all day out of Burgos but I didn’t feel ready for a rest day. Compromised with a half day (12km) to rabe de las calzadas and I’m so glad I did. This is a wonderful, small 2 bar/restaurant town (the barman at restaurante fuente de Rabe is very welcoming) and has an adorable fountain at its centre. This Albergue is super homely and the dinner was excellent (soup, salad, tortilla and yoghurt + good wine for €10, breakfast for €3). One of the current or previous owners must have been Dutch, plenty of Dutch literature lying around - but the best part? A European temperature controlled shower!! After one too many municipal showers, pressing the button every 10 seconds for luke warm water, this seemingly never ending supply of steaming hot water was a god send.

I stayed here 25th of august 2020, and I had a great experience. Very clean. I ate the pilgrims menu for only 9 euros - homemade and delicious. Would definetly recomend. Also, there is a washingmascine that you can use for 3 euros.
