The room was clean and the staff were very nice however the worker decided to take the night off and said there is no dinner for us, despite being the only business in the town that offers a meal, and there’s no grocery store, the light in bedroom didn’t work, and the shower head was broken.

Owners treat you like family, food was amazing ! Hot showers, comfy beds, friendly locals perfect place to stay. Do yourself a favor and stay here . Worth the relax!

A wonderful albergue. Very friendly and attentive to your needs. They are the sweetest couple that ran this albergue. The dinner is worth the money. The town itself is very small and doesn't have other options for dinner. Highly recommend

I have never left a review for anything before but I will for these lovely people and their albuergue. Stopped to see if there was room available and we were greeted with glasses of water. We were given a lovely private room which made our day. Since we had arrived early, we ate a delicious potato omelette type dish for lunch. Showers were hot. Beds comfortable. Dinner is not included in price but absolutely worth having. You were given choices for dinner. My friend and I shared a dinner of a huge, delicious salad and then spaghetti bolognese. There was bread, wine and water available. Followed by fresh pineapple. The best dinner I’ve had on the trail so far. Our table companions were fun making a really memorable evening. Slept great and left in the morning after coffee and pastry feeling absolutely refreshed and reenergized. Definitely worth the stay.

They have multiple rooms, so only a small bumper of beds per room. I shared with to other women.
They are really nice, interested and welcoming.
Our room even had a small balcony.
They offer a washing machine.
Dinner was huge, especially the starter. They offered a huge salad, melon with ham or a lentil soup as a starter. For the main course today they offered pasta with pesto or chicken with potato and the desert was pineapple with fresh orange juice. All the nutrients you need.
Breakfast was optional and very few ah. They offer tee, coffee, and either a croissant or a pain au chocolat from a great bakery that bakes with a fire oven instead of an electric oven so they were amazing

This is why I love staying in the smaller towns! Wonderful hosts, clean and comfortable rooms, and one of the best meals we’ve had on the Camino. Highly recommended.

The staff was friendly and welcoming and the space was comfortable albeit a bit cramped. The dinner, though a bit pricey at 16 euros, was fantastic with a great salad, chicken, potatoes, and fruit.

Excellent accommodation in a small town, warm and welcoming hosts, excellent food, and good lodging. Highly recommended.

Such a relief to land here after a hot walk from Puente De Reina. A lovely gentle, welcoming smile and a beautifully refreshing shower preceded a delicious dinner. Can’t speak highly enough of this place.

I recommend everyone take the time to enjoy the journey of the Camino, we already know the destination, but it's Albergues like this one that makes the whole Camino experience memorable and special.

We were made to feel right at home. Greeted us with a cold drink. Washed our laundry for free. Brilliant, delicious dinner. Would be more than happy to stay again.

We ducked in just for a bit of lunch on a very hot day to break up our hike and were amazed at the quality of the food.
Gazpacho was the best my mom has ever had, and she loves it, and the Spanish tortilla was perfect. The orange juice, though, was our favorite, it was fresh and cold, very sweet and just what we needed for the rest of the hike.

After a longgg day I was welcomed so warmly and even though diner was already over he provided some food.
They also make Great orange juice. And just 4 people max in a room, was great!

However I am already in León right now, I take the time now to write some very positive feedback about this albergue and the hosts. I stayed here on the 9th of April 2025 and I often think back about the wonderful hosts, Jose Ramon & San. I will go back there one day, for sure!
The homemade food is just excellent!!! Best regards, Sam Roose (BE/ESP)

What a pair of wonderful hosts! Jose and Sangria are truly special people.
The quality of the rooms, food and personal attention from them are rare on the Camino.
Do stay if you get the chance.

You really need to get there

...to other inn keepers!
I never thought I'd be happy to get tendinitis on this trip. But this minor setback led me here!
Jose and Sam are wonderful hosts. And their Albergue is fantastic. Rooms are very clean. Two levels with two rooms each floor, and two bunk beds per room. Four people per room and bathrooms shared between 8. Lots of hot water and showers had lots of water pressure.
Food was (seriously) restaurant quality. Jose is a wonderful chef. And I don't throw the word chef around. I ordered pork cheeks that would Michelin star qualityPortions were huge with dishes for carnivores and vegetarians alike. Everything is fresh so if you're vegan let them know. I'm sure they can adjust recipes to meet your dietary needs.
I never thought getting tendinitis would be a gift but if I didn't have issues I would have ended my trip in Estella.
Take the chance. Go "off script" and experience staying in the smaller towns and albergues. And when in Lorca, stay here. You won't be disappointed!
And so sad I can't post pics of the food and hosts!

Everyone should stop here! Clean & quiet place with wonderful hosts & delicious food. There are real sheets on the bed! Four beds to a room for your peace and quiet. Can’t say enough good things about it. Quaint town. Please support this albergue!!!

Lee and Jose are terrific. We booked via WhatsApp and communication was easy. Lee did our wash and hung up our clothes-no charge!!! Fabulous meal!! Rooms were clean. Good experience.

We had a big bowl of hot lentil soup here. So tasty, nutritious and energy rich! Added a salad to conclude our lunch here. Classical music at the background.
