Lovely

I stayed here to shorten the walk to Roncesvalles. Glad i did as after a long day travelling was happy to stretch my legs and walk the 5 km after visiting the pilgrims office in SJPP. Really nice man running this place. I arrived late and not many pilgrims so he gave me a double room in auberge even tho i only booked a bed in dorm. Great place to start from also as had road to myself for first hour even tho its may. I got to see the sun rise over the beautiful Pyrenees.

Starting from St. Jean early? (Sept 2021)

If you're starting your Camino before dawn, this is the first place you can grab your cuppa joe. Essential!

Lovely modern rooms with new shower rooms and a balcony. Excellent dinner. I did not have breakfast.
