Albergue Villamayor

Very nice little place. Colombian vibes. Staff is very nice. Its a bit small but comfy and rooms have only 3 beds so you'll enjoy a little more privacy than usual as well. Bar open 6am to 6pm. I recommend!

We arrived late in the day and were the only guests. The hospi let us know that nothing would be open by the time we got there, so we knew to eat before we arrived. We left super early the following morning, but he got up to provide breakfast. Room was basic but clean and comfortable.

After Grañon this was the first place we found with somewhere to eat (at a weekend). Food was good. We stayed overnight. Clean basic accommodation, road is busy and noisy - the double glazing blocked the sound at bedtime

A lovely Albergue, run by a Colombian family. They are happy and kind and very welcoming. Patient with my below basic Spanish. My room was clean and comfortable.
Chicken and salad were huge and delicious.

I would recommend this place to stay.

I agree with the comments before. Great service with smiles, delicious food, comfortable beds.

Since my start of the camino @ SJPDP, one of the time best stayings, because of great Columbian hospitality, very good food, a little shop, bar restaurant, serving from 6 am to 6 pm, always with a big smile! I highly recommend this place! Private rooms are excellent! ~ Sam Roose (BE/ESP)
