Albergue Casa del Santo

We had a 4 bed room for our party of 4, with a shared bathroom. One of the best stays on the Camino.

I stayed on 26 August 2026 for €13 (cash only) and it was so clean and the staff were so welcoming. There is also a decent kitchen for cooking and bunk beds are in rooms of 10. 6 of my friends all got to stay in the same room which was fun! The bathrooms are large and gendered — the female toilets and showers were clean! There are several foot baths and laundry sinks outside.

Excellent Albergue! 169 bunks but all in smaller rooms. We had 6 bunks in our room. Nice kitchen and lounge. Plenty of showers and bathrooms. 13 euros. Right downtown. Cathedral is a couple minute walk away. Very well run facility. An old building wonderfully renovated. Supported by Spanish volunteers.

Great albergue! Don’t miss out on the ice cold foot baths in the garden - heaven! The charging outlets were few and annoyingly placed, but that is my only complaint. It was otherwise fantastic!

Clean, well organized, great bathrooms and laundry facilities. Comfy beds. Old and young alike get bottom bunks (until they fill up - which did not happen) Nicely equipped kitchen.
The hospitalerias were awesome, very efficient.
I have absolutely nothing but compliments on this place! We even were treated with a fireworks show out our window!

I stayed here last night (30/7), and enjoyed the large dining and social rooms. The kitchen was also well-equipped. WiFi costs four euros, however, and sound really carried into the dormitory space so ear plugs were very useful.

Very kind volunteers. Nice dorm rooms, good bathrooms. Big kitchen and dining area. Vending machines with everything from snacks to toothpaste, olive oil to bandaids. Garden with foot pools and clothes washing area. Highly recommend.

Best Albergue to date, good showers. Excellent

There is no respect for these Who want to sleep. Ten o'clock is not respected. There is so many noise. Its the first time that this happens. Lights stay on etc..

This is a great place to stay, very friendly and nice and clean. Beds are comfortable and there is enough room for your pack. I’d stay here again, no problem

The facility was clean, and the kitchen well-equipped to cook a meal. I did not think there were as many bathrooms as needed for the number of pilgrims in each floor, but we all made it work. I would have liked an outlet at my bed but I just searched around. There are small lockers in which you can charge your phone on the lower level. It is well- located.

Great albergue that finds its usefulness on the camino by its ability to welcome many pilgrims. I would like to thank the staff, helpful and able to validly inform the pilgrim with their experience of the Camino.

All i can say, it's location is convenient. Laundry in front, bar/restaurant nearby, close to the cathedral. The dining hall is big and spacious. Staffs are friendly.
But I was hoping for a community feeling with was none. People came and go, didn't connect with each other.

Such a great description of another pilgrim. It’s a well run albergue, everything works great, they have lockers and a garden. And the fill up the bottom beds and then open another room before they give you the top bed. Really considerate of them!
I was really cold at night and I don’t know if they have blankets somewhere. I forgot to ask. At 10 pm somebody walked in and turned off the lights.

Nice and clean, very close to many bars/restaurants. It used to have a full kitchen, but most dishes have been removed, and you cannot use the stove anymore. Good wifi, plenty of showers and toilets.

Meget stort Alberque men rent og pænt dog meget koldt da vi var der i maj men det skyldes nok mere koldt maj vejr. Tilfældigt blev vi tilbudt et dobbelt værelse med privat bad for kun 4 € mere pr person klart en opgardering som er det værd. Der er ingen køkken faciliteter eller mulighed for at købe mad men gode muligheder i byen.

13€ for a pilgrim factory that's not well designed... no more, thanks
