This one is just out of town, feels bit uncomfortably far after a long walk. And could be because of a few quiet weeks but kitchen and bar closed so all in all a clean but boring space

I spent two nights in a private room that was just wonderful. The hosts were helpful and kind. A great place to stay in a wonderful town.
The room was exceptional. I enjoyed my stay very much.

The albergue is on the way out of Molinaseca. The owners were friendly and helpful, I had a foot injury and was provided with an ice pack. The dorms and shared areas were clean and spacious. There were washing and cooking facilities (outdoors and undercover). Great pilgrims meal. Breakfast also available

We were a large group (15) we found that the man in Charge the hostel couldn’t be more helpful, us with our pigeon Spanish & him with no English. He managed to order us pizzas from Dominoes in the next town delivered as we were in no state to go back into the town for food , we spent a pleasant evening on the terrace. The hostel was spick and span. Lovely place 👍🇮🇪

The communal dinner only had one option and I was told it could not be adapted to accommodate a vegetarian. I was offered a pizza from the bar instead but was not welcome to eat the other parts of the dinner. I experienced rudeness and inflexibility from one of the hosts and was told I needed to sit away from the other people in my group because I had not paid for the communal dinner. Also this spot is at the FAR edge of Molinaseca - so be warned that you have another 10-15 minute walk after you arrive to the town.

Weird vibe, the man was lovely but the woman was rude and unwelcoming.

Excellent dinner:
lentil soup AND salad, pasta, water, AND wine. One of their reserved guests fell and broke her leg and couldn’t manage the stairs. They found her another spot. They gave hospitality.
All the stars!!!

Clean, friendly staff and even had my backpack carried to my room. Highly recommend

Price is now 12€ for a bunk bed and they also do a Pilgrims dinner for 12€. For the night I was here it was Soup, Spaghetti and dessert.
Lovely clean rooms, well spaced with a footlocker at the end of each bunk.
If you are happy with not being in the centre of town this place is great!

This is my second stay at this Albergue and the hospitality never fails to disappoint. I would recommend. Didn’t book but accommodated us with a smile. Comfortable beds. Clean and tidy spaces with bar and restaurant space to relax.

I had planned to stay here but on arrival when I asked about food I was told that there was no food available. I walked back to Molinaseca and stayed in a different hostel.

not sure why and how long, but it's closed

We had a private room which was gorgeous. Comfortable beds and a brand new private bathroom. Everything we needed after a long day. On the Camino trail a few minutes from the main square.

Felt welcome, cared for, little kitchen outside and dining/common area
16. May 2024 - 10:26
It’s slightly out of town (along the route) but don’t let that stop you. The beds were comfortable and the dorm was clean and pretty modern. Plus, the hospitaleros were super friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend. There is a kitchen outside with a fridge, microwave, and hot plate.

The people here are very nice. They want to let you feel like being home. Great dormitory with much space between the beds. Good bathroom with 4 showers. A few minutes walk from the beatifull village.

Limping toward Ponferrada, we popped-in to see if there was a bed. What a welcome! Very warm and inviting.
As far as Albergues go; this is very nice. Well spaced and solid bunks, plenty of power outlets, a thoughtful storage bin at the foot of the bed, and good bathroom facilities.
And a beautiful location too. Great Albergue!
Multi-lingual hosts: French, English, and Spanish

The host was not welcoming at all - he does not like pilgrims. The pilgrim menu much beyond average. Not a pleasant atmosphere.

Good Albergue, very clean and nice staff. If you need a massage call the number from the flyer in the lounge (ma Belen) she’s good and cheap.

Showed up on July 1st, 2023 and it was closed. :( Looked nice though
