Albergue Compostela

Location great, very hospitable host, washer dryer, clean newer bathrooms and big showers. The place very nice all around, single beds, wifi, privacy walls. Would recommend!

A friendly welcome and real sheets a big plus . Each room
had a window to leave open in this heat and thoughtfully partitioned for privacy . I honestly don’t get the comments on the opaque screens as no one can see through them . Would definitely stay here again. Liz 🙏

We were in the upstairs room, it was single beds (a couple of double beds available). The toilet and shower doors do have an opaque screen, but they are single sex so not an issue. There is no food available, there’s a microwave and drink machine (no kettle). The only clothes washing facilities are the bathroom sinks. There is a clothes airer downstairs
There was a guest with a dog in the shared bedroom. It was sleeping in the bed with her 😳

Transparent doors to the toilets? Water in the showers cannot be directed? There is no place to put the soap. The whole thing is pleasant and fun

All single beds, well nooked for privacy with partial walls. Lovely host. Clean and quiet.

This Albergue is nice but the bathrooms are badly designed with no privacy and nowhere to hang things. Small shower with frosted glass that opens to the passage and you need to walk passed shower to use toilet. Only one shower and one toilet downstairs for ladies.

To my astonishment, this was supposed to be a nice albergue. But it has bed bugs. It woke me up at 3am, and i stayed up entire night and scared to death. I had feet and shoulder bites. My friend recommended me this place and she got bites too but she forgot to tell me. Otherwise, nice dinner nice bed

As I wanted a lower bunk, the hospitalera thought I will be happy in the dorm on first floor. It was extremely hot and there were very limited options for getting fresh air. It was quite a terrible night, to put it mildly…
